Holiness speaks to us of a promise - I will prepare a place for you (Jn 14:2) - which is already fulfilled, in a way, in the life of every saint. Indeed, the place of God's friends is with the Friend. Francisco and Jacinta show us the way to this. place and help us go through it in the dark and restless hours of this earthly pilgrimage. An icon of God's glory and a living image of the Message of Fatima, her canonization is, for those who live by the same charism, a reason to be honored. redoubled joy.

Francis looks at us as one who invites us to be one Spirit with God. The adventure of Unity, in this child, is made through adoration and prayer with the Lady clothed in the Sun. It was through the hands of the beautiful Lady that Francis experienced the Light that was God. Everything would be different from that moment on. Contemplative and Eucharistic, the boy from Aljustrel shows us that holiness is not only a possible path, but also a simple and beautiful one. In the intimacy of prayer before the Lord, fascinated by the goodness of his creation and his mercy, like Francis, we can enter into the Heart of God to be one with him and see as he sees.

Jacinta, with her hand around her waist, urges us to act in Salvation History. In the thoughts of the youngest of the three Little Shepherds, the whole life of the Jesus she loved so much, the image of the Immaculate Heart of Mary that she had seen surrounded by thorns, the images of suffering humanity and even the Holy Father whom she never forgot, played out like a movie. From his deep thinking came an insatiable commitment whose fruitfulness could be seen in so many transformed hearts and lives. Involved in the destiny of that same humanity, determined to give ourselves daily to the merciful designs of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, like Jacinta, we can walk paths of perfection in love and be a reflection of the newness of God, who is always ready to recreate the "new man" in us.

The announcement of the Canonization of the Little Shepherds in this Centenary year came as The final and essential touch to God's masterpiece. The whole Church will now be able to invoke the intercession of Francisco and Jacinta Marto as powerful friends in heaven and examples of an excellent life on earth.
