WORD versus SILENCE III

I thank you every moment!

May 21st, 2021

Living the gift of life means letting myself be looked at by God and letting him tell me who I am, as a child-daughter of God who has learned to grow up and get to know him under the gaze of the Crucified One. His faithfulness makes me a child, so on life's pilgrimage, I call out to him, I gather everything that is in me and in the silence of the Passion of Life, I learn to live in thanksgiving at every moment in him who makes me take part in his life, in his holiness.

That's why, like the Apostle Paul, I never cease to “give thanks with joy to the Father, who has made us able to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light” (Col 1:12), asking for enough, for our daily bread in a hidden dialog with the Father.

I thank you every moment!

You who looked at me in your mind,
In the silence of the bridal thalamus
A life was born.
And you begot me in the word
When you pronounced my name
And you gave me the body.

Known in eternity
And made known in time...

Life of a fragile child
Who learned to babble your name
In his mother's lap
When in the beginning I contemplated you
Even though I don't know you...

The cross,
A place where our gazes
They crossed paths and got to know each other.
And under that gaze
Your gift has been growing in me
In the passion of a greater love.

In your faithfulness to my smallness.

I call out to you
I gather the wreckage and my ruins
I hold them in my hands as a gift
pilgrim in the silence of the Passion of Life
At every moment
I thank you!

You teach me to be a stranger
Traveling paths never imagined before
Asking for enough: our daily bread
In the hidden dialog with the Father.

I carry in me
Such a fragile and unique gift:
life in Life
because you bring me to you too.

Let's go up together
The sidewalk of my fragility.
Make me Your memory
In the smallest gestures.

Make me your accomplice
Because nothing in me is outside of you
And the life I have is yours.
