You said you were already the One who is coming

November 21, 2021

Next Sunday we will begin our Advent journey. In this time of hope, we are invited to learn and actualize the Waiting of Salvation History - Promise, Covenant, Fulfillment - in our own history, in every Hour lived in God.

You said you were already the One who is coming
and I'm Waiting where I can reach you.
Made of dust that is discovered in your hands,
made of time that runs in your wandering,
like a grooved stone in the rush of your waters.

Sandy beach,
by his gaze full of heaven and amazement.
Mount that dreams of the Alliance,
where you reign, so that I may be what you are in me.

I go out in the gale to listen to your silence
and I play impatiently in front of your Love.
I spin in the desire with which you carve my path:
like gaps in the earth,
that yearns and is already a torrent.
Even in the distance I know you,
Tree only stripped of its fruit,
Which is already in bloom.

You said you were already the One who is coming.
Flesh of the world, new to the breast.
Remaining hope for the poor.
Beautiful promise
in the womb.
Cave of the simple,
who happily guards the Heart that believed.

I'm waiting for you,
in the eyes that were relentless in the face of the delay,
in that blinding light that guards your certainty,
like fire that will be oil for the banquet.
And I'm looking for you,
like a bird coming down,
to lay on the branches that are seed.
Oh wonderful Kingdom!
Of bread and wine!
Open sky, kissing feet,
my passage,
in the silent wood where I hold you and it's paradise today.
Longing, where you are life in me,
in the Joy that hovers.

You're close in your absence and we're dancing forever.
"Come, Lord Jesus!"
